- Thematic Roadmaps -

DDSI focused on three thematic policy areas. These topics are priorities for European and national policy-makers since they are pivotal in fostering a more secure and dependable Information Society.

The Roadmaps cover:
a) public-private partnerships
b) warning and information sharing
c) R&D Policy

The completion of each roadmap involved a three step research methodology. First, an extensive overview of the available literature and secondary sources was completed in conjunction with interviews with experts. This was followed by one or more workshops in which participants were invited to discuss the main issues related to a specific roadmap. Finally, prior to its final completion, the draft roadmap was circulated among experts and other interested parties.
